38-Hour Course

Parents and Students,

Crescent City Driving School will offer it’s Annual Summer 38 Hour Driving Course beginning May 26, 2025. All interested students must first obtain their Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) from the DMV and then come in to register and reserve their seat in the class. Registration begins March  28, 2025 7am-9am at 2022 St Bernard Ave bldg. C Rm. 310 . The cost for the 38 hours course is $475. A deposit of $250 is due at the time of registration. The final payment will be due on the last day of class. Payment can be made with cash or money order. The class is limited to 35 students on a first come first served basis. The schedule of class dates and times are as follows:

May 26, 2025 8am-3pm Corpus Christi Community Center

 May 27, 2025 8am-3pm Corpus Christi Community Center 

May 28, 2025 8am-3pm Corpus Christi Community Center

May 29, 2025 8am-3pm Corpus Christi Community Center

May 30, 2025 8am-3pm Corpus Christi Community Center

Cost of 38 hour course $475.  Road Test $40 (road test for 17 year old students)

Items to bring to the DMV to obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit:

Minor Students (15 years to 17 years old)

· Original or State Certified Birth Certificate (no photocopies)

·  Social Security Card

· School Enrollment Form-student must be at least in the 8th grade

· Original or Court Certified Custody Papers (if there are any)

· Legal Custodial/Domiciliary Parent/Guardian with their Driver’s License or State ID Card
